Olá, surfistas de ondas digitais.
Hoje demos por nós a pensar nesta viagem. O mar onde nos metemos com medo, mas vamos ganhando confiança e, às tantas, começa a parecer aquelas longboards com uma pessoa e um cão (a pessoa de refresco na mão, o cão de óculos escuros).
Muitos dos projectos por aqui têm essa matriz. A timidez é um soluço. Escrever já custou mais, fotografar também. Agora há uma espécie de confiança tranquila em aceitar esta vida de saber design, mas também um pouco de outras coisas. Porque isto, em 2026, é assim. Para o bem e para o mal.
Os drops “grandes” foram bons, mas também nos saíram do pêlo. E, no meio disso, para descansar, fizemos uma exposição que acabou por ser ainda mais complexa. Então agora pensámos noutra coisa: muitos projectos, pequenos. Mais leves, mais rápidos.
Começam, aos poucos, a ver a luz do dia.
Scouse Cinderella: É uma publicação com fotos da Sara Feio, em risografia, a partir de encontros com calçado na cidade de Liverpool. 50 unidades. Agarrem, que isto desaparece (como os sapatos).
RISO Scraps Keychains: Misturar acrílicos com diálogos gráficos improváveis. Overprints em RISO. Edição de 20, todos diferentes.

Hello, digital wave surfers.
Today we found ourselves thinking about this journey. The sea we stepped into with fear, but gradually gaining confidence, until at some point it starts to feel like one of those longboards with a person and a dog (the person with a drink in hand, the dog wearing sunglasses).
Many of the projects around here follow that pattern. Shyness is a hiccup. Writing used to be harder, photography too. Now there’s a kind of quiet confidence in embracing this life of knowing design, but also a bit of other things. Because this, in 2026, is what it is. For better and for worse.
The “big” drops were good, but they also took a toll on us. And in the middle of that, to rest, we made an exhibition that ended up being even more complex. So now we thought of something else: many projects, small ones. Lighter, faster.
They’re slowly starting to see the light of day.
Scouse Cinderella: A publication with photos by Sara Feio, printed in risography, based on encounters with footwear in the city of Liverpool. 50 copies. Grab one, they’ll disappear (like the shoes).
